Two out of Four USB ports on my laptop suddenly stopped working!
My laptop(HP Pavilion) has a total of 4 USB ports (two on the left side and two on the right side) Suddenly, my laptop developed this problem, the two USB ports on the left side of the laptop stopped working.. They didn't stop working completely, because
i can still charge my phone through the ports but they don't detect any storage device i plug into them. The other two on the right side work perfectly.. I checked my laptop's device manager and the only faulty thing i seem to notice is under "other devices"
where the driver for "Fresco Logic USB Root Hub" isn't installed...it shows "The drivers for this device are not installed(Code 28 )" Please could this be the problem and where can i get the driver?
