My Drive does not appear in Windows Explorer

Hello,

 

When plugging in my external USB hard drive and one of my USB flash drives I don’t see the drive in Windows. I’ve looked around in Answers and tried some of those solutions. I can’t find a anything that gives a list of troubleshooting steps, can anyone help?

Hello LD,

 

There is an old Windows XP KB article that was recently  updated with additional steps to resolve these types of issues. The KB now covers Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. See if this helps.
