Cortana `Ask me anything` is always white

Actually I do not remember how it happened, but cortana field in the task bar suddenly became always white. Event if start menu is completely closed. I've tried to restart explorer or even computer -- there is no effect -- it is ALWAYS white. How can I fix it?

Please, help -- it is really annoying((

I had the same issue. to solve the problem you just need to change system location to a another country where Cortana is not available, then just sign out and sign in back. you will now see search windows bar in normal color.  now change the system location back to US and start Cortana and everything will be OK. Here is it after correction.
