cofire.exe the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000006)

I seem to have something corrupted but I don't know how to fix the cofire.exe file.  I see the free programs to fix everything for me, but It seems to easy.  Microsoft is not offering that easy.  I have run the system repair & that did not do it.  It takes a long time to get booted up, then It's very hard to get anything done because I'm always gettingthe cofire.exe message.  Any help would be appreciated. seem to have something corrupted but I don't know how to fix the cofire.exe file. 1.      Are you getting this error message during startup?

2.      Were there any changes made to the computer prior to the issue?

 

Please follow the methods.

 

Method 1:

Let’s test the issue in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

If it works fine in safe mode, perform clean boot.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft Safety Scanner on your computer and check if it helps:

 Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.
