How do I import eMail addresses from a query in Microsoft Access (2010) into an Outlokk (2010) Address Book?

I don't want to use CSV. I wondered if they is a direct import feature that I have missed.

Answer

You can import or link directly to your Contacts list from an Access database (ACCDB or MDB). It's under External Data, More, Outlook Folder.

But you can't update the table directly from Access unless you have the appropriate rights. One way to update the solution is to use code that can manage the Outlook folders. We offer that in our commercial Total Visual SourceBook product. It has lots of VBA code including stuff for Outlook Contacts: http://www.fmsinc.com/MicrosoftAccess/modules/code/Outlook_Automation_COutlookContacts.htm
