Spooler Subsystem App error

I am getting the spooler subsystem app error at every logon, attempt to install printer, Microsoft Fix it application etc...

No matter what I try, I get the error. I have deleted registry files, printers, drivers, re-boots etc. I have tried just about every suggestion on the net or microsofts website with negative results. I am at a complete loss. I had the printer installed and working fine, and I don't know what changed to make it stop working. Before I re-install OS and the painful process of restoring files, I would like to fix this properly. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Check chan vu's message here - the very top one.

If the above did not help :

Use this method to clear the spooler then uninstall and reinstall your printer (check with the
maker for the latest driver).

Check the Mr Fixits here and if you have to use the other methods go back and try them
again afterwards.

Thanks for the Help SpiritX,

I just figured it out. I had loaded the printer software on another computer on my network and that was causing problems on all computers associated. In Chans ideas worked, but it just has to be completed on all computers on the network.

Again, thanks.
