windows 7 System Error 1240 Has Occurred, connecting to windows 2000 server

I tried solution from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/224287

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanworkstation\parameters
EnablePlainTextPassword=1

but it didn' work

- net use \\server /user:myuser mypass (successfully)

- net use h: \\server\share /user:myuser mypass (System Error 1240)

Alan, thanks for your reply

I have been able to solve my problem. My friend had the same thing and can fix it. The solution is to disable ipv6 properties from the local area connection properties. It is a strange solution but the good news is it can fix the problem
