Outlook 2013 starts configuration every time it's opened

Installed Office Pro 2013 64bit on Win 8 machine. All the applications open and work fine, but every time I open Outlook, a "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013" window popups. It then starts configuring until another popup saying that "Microsoft Windows Search Protocol Host" should be closed before continuing. I've clicked on "Automatically close..." and "Do not close (reboot)" and neither makes a difference. Every time I reopen Outlook, it starts again.

 

I do have admin rights on the machine.

Do you have another version of Office installed?

Did you make a new profile or use a profile created in an earlier version of Outlook? 

Does it stop if you right click on the outlook shortcut and choose Run as Admin to open it one time?
