Unable to connect. Host has different playlist?

At first I thought this was because the host doesn't have the same DLCs as I do but this happens also with friends who have the Season pass and who have dowloaded all DLCs. So what gives?

Its to do with when the game the are playing started. That's why gears 3 updates the playlist every time you sign into the game. If a host has a different playlist means they are playing a game from 'yesterday' If they quit out and start a new game you will be able to join

I'm having this issue right now.

And I can't believe that NO ONE is playing an older game to me...

I can't connect to any games. Any quick match i do, loads me into bots.....

Very odd. I'll give it another day and go from there//
