The game is in memory but wont appear in my game library

Hello folks, recently I upgraded from the old Xbox to the new slim (250gb) using the usb method (per the guidance on this site).

The game I have played the most is BFBCII. Now when I put in the game CD, the initial load goes through upto the point you are required to hit the "start" button. Once I do that, the screen blanks out and nothing happens. Was wondering why this would be. Other games like MW2 seem to work fine online

Also, I checked to see that the game does appear in my console memory but not in the "game library" - not certain what is happening here. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Did you have the game installed on the old Xbox and then you copied the game across to the new Xbox?

If so, then the simple solution to that would be to delete the game and to install it again on the new Xbox. That is a security measure taken by Microsoft to counter piracy.
