Scratched Disk

I went to play NHL 11 this morning and i load the game, i play for a game for a few minutes and then an error screen pops up saying they can't read the disk.  I played the game last night and it worked fine.  didn't even take the game out of the console so i have no idea why it would stop working.

I played another game and it worked fine, but I have no idea why the game would all of the sudden stop working when I did nothing to change it.  game has worked perfect before.  Theres one "scratch" on the game, its really hard to see doesnt look like a scratch more like a mark but i cant clean it off.

Anything I can do? Do i have to bring the game in to try and clean it/repair it?

Thanks

Try installing the disk on your HDD, if your HDD is big enough.

If it can install, you'll have to keep it on there to prevent that from happening again.

If it can't install, it's basically ruined. I would suggest that you go to a game rental store and get it rebuffed. It's usually around the 2 dollar range to do so.
