Problems After Downloading May Update

Have you tried resetting your router/modem?. Sounds like a connection issue is all.

Well now I can't even log in. It says there was a Problem logging in and that's all.

Ok after some connection testing I managed to get logged in after resetting my router and modem. There's no improvement at all. The connection is still awful.

Running a connection test shows that the console connects to my network, and the internet, but not Xbox Live.

Are you connected wireless or with an Ethernet?.

If you use wireless would it be possible for you to try with an Ethernet just to check if it is a poor signal.

I'll try that.

But I am getting three bars on my wireless and everything on my computer, which is on the same network, works fine.

From memory (so I may well be off the mark), this error code signifies a time out error. Happens when the console does not get a reply from the servers quickly enough so it times out. Like I say I might be wrong though.

But that's why I suggested trying the Ethernet just to check really.(Networking is not really my forte but no one else replied)
Do you have an open NAT MrKippy?.

And when you run the connection test on the bottom left it will say report. Could you click on that and post what is listed there?.
We will figure this out.

One other thing also, could you go to speedtest.net and run a connection/ping test.

One close to your location, one far away, and once again in the middle. The connection bars in game usually signify Ping, so I thought this might be worth checking also.

Just throwing some idea out there atm and trying to narrow down possible causes.
