I watched the video, that shows what will be in the fee based subscription.

And no offense, but i can figure out 99% of that stuff, without needing to pay for it.  I know what guns work on every map.

Here is the real question: How much will the actual games lose to fee service.  What i mean, is, will they start short cutting the games and making the fee dealio  fill what used to be free????

There is ZERO chance i pay for it. I pay for Xbox live, i pay for their games, thats enough!  When is enough, enough?

No thanks to that garbage. I can't believe that they think that's what everyone wants and will pay for. I don't even use or look at any of the stuff Black Ops provides now. I just play the game. I didn't miss all that stuff then and I certainly will not care about it in the future. Congrats to all the idiots at Activision for wasting everyones time.

Let's be honest.  It's not a bad idea, but we're paying for things we have already had.  I know that I could care less about spending money to look at my stats and to 'improve' my game.  I think most of us have done that just playing for a couple of years.  

The one thing that bothers me is with the map packs.  If the map packs are already 'included' then I see the price of Elite being around the same price we pay for XBL.  I mean, each map pack is already $15 bucks.  We'll probably get a discounted rate ($10/ pack) but then they will throw up the price for the other 'social interactions.'  In the end, I see this as costing around $60 bucks which is ridiculous.

Now, if it is only $20 or $30, I, for one, will probably pay it just because I already buy the roughly three map packs for each year's game and that will be a bargain.

All of that sounds dumb.

That doesn't seem like it would warrant an extra payment every month.  Maybe if they had dedicated servers, early access to map packs, and some exclusive weapons, perks, equipment...etc I'd consider it.  But a heat map of where i move and contests?  No thanks.

After seeing all the stuff that will be included I am also wondering why they would waste their time with this. I read that it has been in development for two years which then leads me to wonder about a new engine. They probably sat in a meeting and went, "Ok, so we could build a new engine and move the CoD series further. Or, we could make a stat tracking/social hub for CoD." They could have used that time to make a new engine.
