Can't play several original Xbox games

I can't seem to play any original Xbox game. I've tried doing the software update, but no luck. The games are the Hunter: XXXX games and Jet Set Radio Future/ GT game. I am using a legit Microsoft drive. I emailed and called customer service, but I have yet to receive a straight answer. Any help would be appreciated.

By the looks of things it's only Hunter: The Reckoning that works out of the Hunter series and even then only on North American consoles. The JSRF/Sega GT bundle doesn't support VGA cables either and if you're in the UK you need to set your console to 50Hz display output.

In which case you must be not based in the States hence Hunter not working.

I tried all my original games that i used to be able to play today, none of them worked. I was not surprised and not impressed. i just wish that I could swing around new york as spiderman just one more time!

I live in the US. I purchased my games in the US. Everything is NTSC. Does anyone know what's going on? Can anyone else play original Xbox games?

Tortiserush, what happens when you try and play these games? You mentioned an update earlier--what update was that, specifically?

I just got off of the phone with Xbox support. They told me that all the games I'm trying to play are no longer supported. So both Hunter: The Reckoning games and Jet Set Radio Future.
