your account has been suspended due to a problem with your payment option

 

There are 4 of us in a family pack and one of us (my nephew) is getting this error message every time he tries to connect to xbox live. I've spoken to support and they say it is not a payment issue as we are not due to renew until next march. He thinks it may have been a terms of use type thing and I should seek help in these forums. I find it difficult to believe that he would have done or said anything to warrant getting him banned so any ideas? He keeps moaning that he wants to get back on and its giving me a headache.

If you believe that the problem is something other than a payment problem, you would need to post this here.  However, support does not have access to billing issues.  You would need to call the support line again and ask to speak with billing to get to the bottom of that message.

By any chance, could your nephew have selected 'leave family' by accident?
