having real trouble recently. ive done the manual ip settings thing and its made my nat type restrictive. some times it just wont connect and i dont know why, any suggestions, thanks

why not try setting everything to automatic and see if that helps.....take it you are dong it via a wired connection straight to your router?

Are you with sky broadband by any chance? I sometimes having trouble signing into live, normally a re start of my router sorts it, but it is canny annoying
