ONCE AGAIN MICROSOFT AND EA has failed miserabl ,,,, thank you for greasing me up first,, sure do appreciate it, but it still hurts,,,,

You can play in offline mode...... Disconnect your Ethernet cord or disconnect from your wireless and the system will let you sign in. You will be able to play most games (Sp only). This is the only way to sign into your profile at this time. I understand that this is not a ideal situation, but the XBOX 1 is not a paperweight, and it is the sign in service causing the issue not the system itself.

It's not a paperweight. Since I just got it and can't sign in for the first time, its a really great extension to my DVR.. I mean, I can't use the TV Guide, but I can use it to make browsing channels much harder and cause some delays every now and then in the TV stream :)

@CreepZzin I agree (It should switch to offline mode automatically), BUT, Offline mode does work....
