How do I protect my gamertag and my account from getting hacked by other gamers?

Just wondering thst's all and this is my sixth gamertag in 5 years since I first bought a xbox 360 console.I also don't find it safe on xbox live.

Also, I use a different email address and password separate from my others specifically for xbox live that is only used for xbox live. This is the only tag I've ever had.

Also make sure your password is over 8 characters and contains a mix of letter, numbers, and capital letters. The harder your password is to hack, the safer your account will be.
