HDCP fail XBOX ONE

Do we have a cure for the HDCP syncing issue?

Netflix just fails, no error.

DVD in XBOX one gives me the 91d70001 error.

VUDU will stream a trailer ( may mean nothing )

Now, I move the HDMI cable from the back of the xbox One and plug it into PS3 or my laptop and everything works as it should.  That pretty much eliminates the cable and my projector as being the culprit.

Does anyone have a solution.  I've tried all the cache clearing, power off/on, app reinstall, etc to no avail.

Thanks,

-klb

Oh, and BTW, I use an XBOX LIVE account, not this account, which is not on LIVE.

Just called Microsoft support about this.

9pm CT USA

I'm told "The reason I can't find much information about this HDCP issue for the Xbox One is that the Xbox One doesn't use it.  We don't use HDCP.  I just found this on the Internet, one of our forums actually.  We don't use HDCP."

That is slightly paraphrased, but not by much!

I said something like I'm sorry but what you just said is absolute bunk, no question. Thanks but no thanks and hung up the phone.  I have a voice mail now from Microsoft support and I think I'll just leave it until later.  Can't be anything very important.

Jeez

Do you use a capture card?  I had the same symptoms and after removing my capture card from the chain (and having to reinstall all the apps) it worked again.  This has been confirmed by a few people now.  One of which is here: forums.xbox.com/.../1636530.aspx

Take a look here: forums.xbox.com/.../222466.aspx

It only goes to show that you most likely will never get a reply or a fix for this issue! This happened on 360 to me and a lot of other people for no apparent reason and they were apparently looking into it but it's been almost a year since I personally experienced the issue on 360, but 2 and even 3 years for some!

They got our money, that's all they seem to care about. I made the move to PS4 and it's the best decision I made

This happened to me twice yesterday. The first time I had to unplug my Xbox for about 30 seconds. The next time it happened mid-stream and I just restarted the video and it worked fine. Must not be a common occurrence, but it sure is annoying.
