Cant connect to xboxlive anymore

Ok so, i got a good one for you folks.

First off i must explain how i go online with my xbox.

I have a laptop, with which im connected to a router via Wlan or Wifi.
ON my laptops network setup thingy, i have it set to "SHARING the internet" ?
so basically any computer or laptop or console connecting to my laptop, will get shared internet.

so thats how i used to go online with the xbox. simple, easy, it worked!

so recently ive been trying to join games on xbox live, and there were no games. it would tell me "no games found"
i cant access my router and change settings like NAT settings or port forewarding
i idiotically clicked on "DIAGNOSE" on my pc, network settings of the connection that reflected the xbox.

i clicked on diagnoes... and since then i havent been able to get online (xbox live)
the option to "SHARE INTERNET" at my wlan connection properties says the following error message:

"An error occured while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled.

Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address
that is requiered for automatic IP addressing"

THERE lies to problem!
i even de installed my ethernet drivers and reinstalled them in hopes of some sort of "reset"
also "factory settings" on the xbox, doesnt help.

Any hints or help would be very appreciated!

Have you tried to bridge your wireless connection to your LAN adapter in network settings?
