Any hope for those that Can't Get Teredo IP Address?

I have tried everything suggested and still can't get a Teredo IP Address. I have also tried multiple routers and I have a static, public IP address. My XBOX 360 has always had open nat and cod ghosts on XBONE also shows open nat.

This seems to be a common problem for a lot of people. I have spoke with my ISP and they say that they aren't blocking any ports.

Is this going to be an issue that Microsoft can resolve with an update or am I and the others who have this issue never going to be able to use party chat?

It seems that problem might be with ports, for example person in the thread provided was able to sort problems out by contacting his network administrator:

The Teredo IP address message has nothing to do with ports being blocked.  It has to do with your ISP's IPv6 implementation.  ISPs like Comcast support IPv6 via DHCP, whereas some are currently just using IPv6 to IPv4 tunneling on their routers (which seems to be flaky with the Xbox One).  The only resolution is to get more info on whether your ISP supports IPv6, and if you're using your own router, set the router's IPv6 support appropriately.  I got the Teredo error until I manually set my router to DHCP for IPv6 instead of Auto or 4-to-6 tunneling.

Comcast has issued a bulletin in regards to the issues and they say to use a wired connection instead of wireless until it is resolved.

Do you have a FritzBox router? There's a known issue with those where, if IPv6 support is enabled in the router settings, Teredo is blocked by an invisible firewall.

This support article on AVM's website applies to all FritzBox models (despite the URL mentioning the 7390).

Thanks for the responses.

I don't have a fritzbox and my isp doesn't support ipv6 which is why teredo is needed. They also say they aren't blocking any ports.

I am currently using a VPN service to route my traffic through a tunnel just so I can game. Pretty crazy. I don't know what to tell my isp. Seems to me the XBOX implementation has issues. Never had any other network issues with my isp until now.
