Error Code: 0xC0000005

At beginning of Gathering Files, Settings and Programs the install stops and I get this error message:
Verify installation sources are accessible.  Error Code 0xC0000005.    I am running Windows Vista HP, 32 bit on HP PC, installing Windows 7 HP.

PROBLEM RESOLVED.     Yesterday I spent several hours on the phone with a MS tech.   He resolved my problem with the Error code: 0xC0000005.   In my case it was because of the permissions granted or not granted to me.    Permissions had been granted to a Trusted Source ??? but never to me as the owner of the PC.   I set up my PC initially, and I have never known how to change the higher lever permissions.   The tech updated the permissions to give me full control.   END of Problem.     Was able to upgrade last night in less than 4 hours.   Unfortunately since the tech had control of my PC I don't how he changed the permissions, but I am sure another user can help here.  He told me it was under MyComputer/Windows/SMInstaller???
