Text rendering issues in Firefox after installing platform update 2670838

Since installing platform update 2670838, random text in Firefox 19.0.2 under Windows 7 (sp1) appear pixelated, verticaly displaced, and shows irregularities in smoothing. this happens with different font types and languages. a screenshot of the problem is here:

uninstalling the update fixes the problem.
Hardware: Lenovo Thinkpad T500 + ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
What about if you use Internet Explorer? You may want to post this question in the Firefox forums.

I'm having the same problem.  The platform update also gets automatically installed with IE 10.  I'm now looking into how to uninstall the update.  I have only noticed the issue in Firefox.  Chrome and IE do not appear to have the problem.

I too  have this problem in Firefox, and am curious if anyone has gotten an answer other than rolling back the update - again - which also likely will roll back IE 10 to IE 9 - again.
