Fall Creators Update – touch keyboard

Hi,

disaster. I just updated to Fall Creators Update. The new touch keyboard is unusable.

  1. It's a bit smaller again, so it's a bit harder to hit right key.
  2. Diacritics and special characters can no longer be written by swipe on key.
  3. Highlighting text does not work with Shift + arrow keys.
  4. Animations are not displayed (keyboard up and down).
  5. Emoji loads slowly. It's slow overall.
  6. I do not see the option to switch the keyboard size (large, small, handwriting, classic).

Do you know what to do? ��

Hi Kim,

Let's take care of your concern. I suggest that you perform an In-place upgrade instead. This is installing Windows 10 over the existing installation of Windows 10 on your device. This can repair broken/corrupted operating system while at the same time preserves your personal files, settings and installed programs.
