Why Service Host: Superfetch is consuming a lot of Disk resources every time windows is starting up? How to solve this?

This happens every time I turn on my computer or after a restart.

Note that:

Windows 10 pro (64-bit) is up to date.

No issues with hardware.

Hi dpqbg

This is a known bug in Windows . ..

click your Start Button, then just type services and hit Enter

In the Services app, scroll down to find Superfetch and double click that service

If that service has started, stop that service, then set its startup type to Disabled and save those settings

Close the Services App

This change will not impact on your System at all and will just stop that constant disk access . . .

Hi dpqbg

Antimalware Service Executable is Windows Defender, if you do not use a 3rd party anti-virus, you should not disable that service . . .
