What is the C:\Recovery folder

Acer Aspire 7741Z, 64-bit, SP1.

RE : The file shown in the screenshot - what is it ?
Is it the file used for system recovery ? If yes, I thought it was hidden in the Recovery partition.

Answer
Hi,

Yes its a folder that is created at installation of Vista or Windows 7. (Its name
will vary from system to system.)

boot.sdi = Windows Deployment System Image.

Winre.wim = Windows Image Format File.

Of course both are part of the Windows Recovery Environment.
