How to change email addresses of my contacts?

Welcome to Microsoft Community! I'm glad to assist you with your issue.

To edit a contact in People page, please follow these steps:

1. Sign in to https://people.live.com

2. Click the contact's name

3. Click Edit.

4. After editing, click Save

Note: You can't change that contact’s info, but you can add details that will appear on this contact's card

But if you want to change that contact's primary email address, you need to delete and readd them as a contact.

To delete a contact in People page, please follow these steps:

1. Sign in to https://people.live.com

2. Check the box beside the contact's picture

3. Click Delete, Select Delete

Note: You can only delete Hotmail/Outlook.com/Messenger contacts

To add a contact in People page, please follow these steps:

1. Sign in to https://people.live.com

2. Click (+) New button in the toolbar

3. Enter your contacts details

4. Click Save
