Glad to hear that you can log into Office 365 Portal now. For the previous login issue, the students can try the following steps first if they have same issue:
1.Reset password by yourself via https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/. If you don't have the permission to do that,
try step 2.
2.Consult IT department or the admin first to help check the account status or reset password.
3. If there is no IT department or global admin in the school, students may try signing up for Office 365 Education with their school email addresses via
https://portal.office.com/start?sku=e82ae690-a2d5-4d76-8d30-7c6e01e6022e.
Let's focus on your current situation. As you sign up for Office 365 Education again with the same email address, it may create a new personal site with this account.
