14955 can't find existing HomeGroup

Insider Preview computer can no longer find existing homegroup.

Homegroup still exists and other 2 computers on 14393 are still functioning normally.

Any suggestion ?

Other than removing them and starting again ?

You're not alone. I've had this issue since RS2 began. First I couldn't join the homegroup at all, now I can join but none of my other computers can see my Insider PC.

Somehow I doubt removing and starting again will help, let me know if you try. The one saving grace to all this (for me at least) is I can still share everything across my network.

Ahhh, the joys of beta/alpha testing <grin>

Removing old homegroup and restarting did the trick, but had to restart from the Insider computer.

Try running the Homegroup Troubleshooter on the problem computer AND another one that is actively in the Homegroup. I have found that can resolve this problem. Also does your NETWORK see the computer and can you see other computers. If not Network Discovery may be off.

It is sad that the Homegroup MUST be setup after every time a new build is installed. VERY frustrating and I have left Feedback in the Feedback Hub numerous times to no avail !

Had to do the same for latest update.

Its a a pain but must be done to use the printer,
