Calendar & Mail not working after latest update.

After the latest update to Windows 10, both Calendar and Mail freeze and crash every time they are opened. Since I use both of these apps a lot, this is a huge problem for me. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Uninstalling the update from yesterday fixed all my issues (mail, calendar, app store not downloading updates, etc). Maybe give that a shot if you haven't yet.

Right click your start button, click Control Panel, click on Programs, in the top list you will see "View Installed Updates", click on it and then under "Microsoft Windows" is a list of updates, it should be the first in the list (KB3081424, installed probably on 8/5). Check mark it and then at the top click uninstall.

I am having similar problem. After installing Windows 10, calendar was working fine at first but now crashes when I try to edit. Went okay again briefly but back to crashing. Tried uninstalling said update but had no effect so re-installed update. Read a blog that microsoft having problems with calendar app becuase of a licensing issue. Since they are aware of problem sure they will resolve ASAP. Annoying I know but that's why we got Windows 10 free of charge. We are the guinea pigs to iron out issues. You would think by now that this would be done before product launch. Hey, Ho.!

Just fixed it for me. Go to settings, accounts, change settings and then to deselect sync mail, then to reselect sync mail.

Also for the store that was not downloading anything, I went to msconfig, selected normal for boot and restarted.
