What faction should I pick?

I've got to the point in the story where I have to go the airbase where the tribals bomb the s*** out of you which I will come back to for help, but I was wondering, what would I benefit on in picking between helping Mr. House, The NCR or the Legion? Is it possible to side with the brotherhood of steel, because I love powerarmour Also how to do you go to the tribe leaders to negotiate, I thought I could use a stealthboy but I don't actually have one to find out :/

Thanks

I don't want to give you any spoilers that would ruin the story, but all of the endings are very interesting, and I would suggest creating a character for each. I started with the Legion, which I think was the most fun, but there's really no specific reason to start one or the other.

If you want to get your full money's worth out of this game, do as I suggested and play through all of the different faction endings. They're all fairly similar, but have some twists thrown in.

Pretty much what he wrote,  I'm trying to see which ending the Followers of the Apocalypse are least shafted in.

At the end of the game, you can only help 1 of the 4 groups struggling for New Vegas: Mr. House, NCR, Caesar, or Yes Man.  Doing too much for one will cause the others to not accept your help anymore.

If you want to have the brotherhood in the rest of the game, pick Yes Man

***Spoilers below*** (assuming you haven't already done much for the Brotherhood)

You can also go with the NCR and still keep the brotherhood in the picture if you do NOT help Head Paladin Hardin remove Elder McNamara from office.  All factions except Yes Man (whom you can tell to leave the brotherhood alone) will want you to destroy the Brotherhood bunker.  If you are taking that part of the questline for the NCR, you can negotiate a truce with Elder McNamara, who will offer to aid the NCR against the Legion, and you will see a good amount of paladins joining the battle at the Hoover Dam.

Well its all up to you who you pick. They are all cool endings.

But I live in Southern California.  So you might be able to guess who I always side with.

when you first get to the strip, save the game!! then you can do the four endings alway's going back to the savepoint at the strip, it's a pain but it works, or like me you do different character builds, and do the game 4 times, my unarmed/melee character is also my harcore game!!

Don't do the Legion. The ending part is very hard even for high level characters, because you have to fight countless NCR troops (with some in power armor) and it is just not fun at all. The NCR is fun to side with, but I usually go with either Yes Man or Mr. House, Mr. House being my usual choice (he saved your life, why wouldn't you?) Unfortunately you can't side with the BOS to end the game, because that would be my choice every time. You can only do side quests and join their ranks though, which is still pretty cool.
