I watch them only to see gameplay but never let reviews/reviewers decide for me what game should i buy/ not buy. If i am interested in a game i bought it; regardless of what the reviewers said.

I believe that reviews are just opinions and I usually take them with a grain of salt. What usually gets me to buy a game or not are Beta’s and Demos. That’s when I can get an actual feel and look at the game and how it runs and plays.

I sometimes find myself disagreeing with some reviews, so I like to hear/read what they say, but would like to demo it to see for myself.

I'll read reviews only to get an idea of what the game is like. From that point I decide if it's worth getting or not. I could care less if the reviewer likes or hates it.

Glad to see we're on the same page of opinion. But reviewers who review games (Especially IGN) are reviewing game like their reviewing music. I bet hardly anyone at IGN *cough* IGNorant *cough* that would like the band Tool.

I like Gamespot's reviews. They always seem to hit the nail on the head.

They don't seem very opinionated. For the most part I can blatantly see the positives and negatives the game has that they point out.
