US Game Download On a UK Xbox?

Ok so my Fifa 14 Game hasn't been working (its a disc game) its been freezing my console constantly (only game doing it) it's completely frustrating me, so i've decided to download the on demand version but my question is will it work if i download it off the US Marketplace  onto my UK xbox to use with my UK Xbox Live account, would that be possible?

A lot of games are being IP restricted lately.  This means that if you live in one country but have your gamertag set up for another the download may not work.  At this moment it's a 50/50 chance as to whether or not you will be able to download the game after purchase.

You could try clearing the console's cache and then installing the game.  Another possibility would be an issue with your hard drive.
