I don't know why my DLC is corrupt

My setup is I have 2 xboxes. One in my room and one in the living room. The living room is the 'main' xbox where I normally download my DLC but my profile and some DLC is on the thumb drive and not a hard drive so I can easily go back and forth.

I got excited and downloaded the minecraft skin pack in my room. I tried to redownload it and move it to my main xbox but it still won't let me play with the skins on my main xbox because it says its corrupt. 

I have never had this problem before but I normally download stuff on the main xbox because it has a hard drive and the one in my room does not.

I even recovered my gamer tag on my main xbox and put the profile on the harddrive, redownloaded the DLC but it didn't work.

Sorry to hear about this happening could you try deleting the Minecraft DLC from your main console by going to Settings>System>Memory>Hard Drive>Games and Apps>Minecraft. When you find the Skin Pack(Because its corrupted it may have an exclaimation mark), delete it.

When you have that done re-downlaod the Minecraft Skin Pack and it should no longer be corrupted.

I actually have tried that. Even though it was corrupted it never had the exclamation mark icon, hints to me being more confused. I am not sure what else to try. =[

This is very unusual. Does the DLC work fine when using it on your other xbox? Also maybe theres an issue with the Minecraft Game itself and you may need to delete that and re-download it. (If you are going to try this do NOT delete any Minecraft save files)

The DLC works fine on the xbox I download it on which is the one upstairs. I downloaded minecraft originally on the main xbox and then copied it to my thumb drive which I take back and forth. So the game itself works fine. I just don't understand why the DLC is any different then the game.

The minecraft game will play even when my friends plug their gamer tags in but the DLC will not work for them either. So they can play the game but not use the DLC.

this happened to me too but I only have one xbox. one day I was trying to play and it said that my DLC was corrupt and that I needed to redownload it. I have the full version of Minecraft but after this happened, it got turned back to the trial and I don't have the full version anymore
