The Mass Effect 3 server is unavailable at this time. Please try again  later.

 

I guess EA should mention this to everyone on my friends list who is playing the game and sending me invites :/

Not all their nodes are in one place unfortunately. Your friends may be connecting via another network path while you could experience access issues coming from another location.

While it likely won't change things up, you could try restarting your modem and router. Sometimes getting your DNS cache shaken up can improve these issues.
