Xbox One menu language

Hi there! Don't know if anyone can answer this question but I thought I'd give it a shot :) I'm wondering if it will be possible to have the ENTIRE Xbox One menu in english even though I live in Sweden? It's not possible on the Xbox 360 and being forced to have half of the menu in swedish makes me want to jump out the window. One solution the Xbox support gave me would be migrating the account to the US or UK but by doing this I wouldn't be able to use the Xbox Live Market to buy games and sorts. So not very keen on that at all. Might sound like a trivial thing, but it's really important to me :) Regards, Peter

The Xbox One will come with the English Language support.

So does the Xbox 360, but because I live in Sweden half of my menus are in swedish (and that cannot be changed) despite me selecting English as my language (and UK as Locale).

Just want to make sure I get the ENTIRE menu in english and not just half of it :)

I doubt anyone will be able to answer for certain. You will have to wait and see. But if your getting a console on launch you will have to choose a different country because the xbox one isnt launching in sweden

[/quote]I find this quite odd because my Xbox 360 console will allow me to change the UI's language from English to just about any other language I want - why this is not a feature on your Swedish console is beyond me.

On 360 i got this problem too.If i change language into English,half of the words on the dashboard are in English the rest in French.

On Xbox one,as far as i know  there is no Swedish language support at launch.

Yeah, I find it very odd too. Like I said, I can change it to english (or another language) but there's still parts of the menu that's still in swedish.

Letting users decide what language they want their console in seems like an easy thing to implement, but maybe not, I'm no creator of consoles :)

It's annoying isn't it? :)

There were no swedish language option on the Xbox 360 in the beginning either, this "problem" arose after an update some years ago :( 

I'd like to send an email to someone and ask, but that seems impossible :)
