Wasn't Avatar Kinect due out today?

wasnt really a rumor I was told by the xbox live support on twitter that it could today or soon? not very clear but its what they said...

im wondering the same thing i was looking forward rto this

I have asked Xbox Support on Twitter, their response was:

We have no info on this at this time.

Then they put:

It's not out today. We've no info to share on that

I got 2 responses from them in one question (it was different people who answered). So still none the wiser of when this does arrive

So? it was some sorta hoax or they have nothing better to do? We get an update but no avatar kinect? what the heck is going on?

Multiple sources stated it was to be released today. they need to release it, I'm becoming O C D  and have started counting the days until its here. This is one of the luring tech features they promised x box members 2 yrs ago , then for the last 5-6 mnths. I think we've waited enough through the hype. time for presentation now not another month :(

According to a source at Joystiq, Avatar Kinect will be arriving on May 27th. The update, which will allow users to have group discussions with full avatar control, including new facial tracking, in a variety of environments with recording and uploading available, is part of the Xbox 360 Spring Update schedule that will come in waves starting May 19.

Also included in the spring update is the ability to use Paypal for subscriptions and other purchases, extending Xbox Live Gold into new international markets as well as allowing users to not upload their credit card information, plus support for the new Microsoft disc format which frees up 15% more space for developers to use.

Xbox needs to get their game together they say one thing and dont do it. its happend more than once.

They're busy working out how much they can charge for it, lol.
