Hey there Alpaca! When you were first setting up your new USB device, did you properly format it to FAT32 and follow all the steps to format it on the console? Did you get any error message about the drive not meeting all the requirements? I would suggest reformatting the drive and testing it again, or possibly replacing it with a different device. Let me know if this helps, thanks!

Hey there, what if you take the flash drive, copy everything over to a computer. Then I would reformat it to FAT32. That way you won't lose your data and you can make sure the USB is in the right format. If your unsure of how to reformat I would gladly help you with that, just let me know. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
what do i do?
Try plugging the flash drive into a rear USB port on the console. The new Trinity models seem to have some power limitations on the front USB ports.
Hey there, what if you take the flash drive, copy everything over to a computer.
There is no Microsoft-sanctioned method to do that.

I am having the same issues with my xbox slim that I got yesterday. I added an 8g pny flashdrive, formatted it, saved profiles to it, and now its not recognized in any of the front or back usb slots. I've done all the updates to the xbox, and I am pretty disappointed in it right now.
