UPDATE!: HOW TO FIX THE "SECURITY PROOFS" ISSUE WITH XBOX LIVE! (STICKY REQUEST)

Greetings fellow gamers! I have recently experienced this horrid problem (not myself, my wifes account got locked out due to "proofs" updating). If you have recently been unable to access your Xbox LIVE account due to the new "SECURITY PROOFS" being added to Live; whether you forgot your password or email or yada yada yada, there is HOPE to fix your issue and re-gain access to your account! But, here is the tried and true method to get this RESOLVED! First, have your info handy and ready, preferrably your xbox on and your account signed in. First you'll need to go to: https://account.live.com/acsr Fill out the form, using AS MUCH INFO as you can remember. Submit it, and wait until you get an email response to the email your provided for contact. At the bottom of the email you will see something like this: Account recovery request ********** is now closed. Please do not reply to this message. Replies to this message are routed to an unmonitored mailbox.  Microsoft respects your privacy.  To learn more, please read our Privacy Statement.  (note i used ** to protect my own info :) but you will need the number for the Account Recovery Request). Now, this is where the real help comes in, contact Official Xbox Support for you local area (in America call 1-800-4MYXBOX [800-352-6495]). Tell the agent you are having an issue with your account due to the new security proofs update and can longer login into your account. They may request you fill out the form, but hey, you just did that! Good for you! :) So, now tell them you'd like to request a password reset link be sent to you using your provided info. The agent will ask if you have received an email response for your Filled out request form. They will then ask for the Account Recovery Request number that appears at the bottom of the email. Give them that, and they will have you go to your console settings and access your system tab, then go down to system info, and CONSOLE ID. Once you have provided them the info they need, they will inform you that an email will be sent to you within 2 days, with a reset link, and that you will then be required to UPDATE YOUR INFO (preferrably with something you remember this time :) lol ) Then, you just have to follow the link, and get your account fixed once again. Hope this helps with anyone suffering from this calamity.
