NAT Type:Strict, Virgin Media, Superhub2

Hello people.

Sorry...yet another NAT Type: Strict post.  Feel like I'm stuck between a rock and hard place at the minute. Unable to get an Open NAT after using all the guides I've managed to find.  I'm hoping to find someone who has cured/fixed/solved the NAT Strict issue with Virgin as there ISP.  But any help at all is welcomed at this point.

Basically I've been referred back to Microsoft as Virgin have exhausted all avenues with there assistance...all i get is that they don't support IPv6.  Even tho Teredo is a transition technology which gives IPv6 connectivity to IPv4.  Now I'm not an expert at this by any stretch of the imagination.  I just want some decent answers!!!! Maybe even help anyone else out there searching for the same information which i am.

Where does this problem ultimately lye?? Is it Microsoft for pushing the protocol too soon?? The ISPs for not being ready?  Will changing my router to one with IPv6 protocols which i can toggle on/off cure the issues in the short term? Do Sky users have the same issues? IF not why not?.  Whats different with Virgin as an ISP?

Thanks in advance guys for any light you can shed on the subject.

What Country/State/Province do you live in? UK

Modem brand & model number: Superhub2

Router brand & model number: Superhub2

Wired or wireless: Attempted both wired and Wireless

Things you have tried:

Port forwarding/triggering. DMZ exclusion. Modem mode (was still showing Strict even in modem mode??). I have even had Virgins "technical team" (term used lightly) try and resolve the issue remotely and set things up themselves after my attempts failed to succeed. Had an engineer out locally and replace the router to rule out any issues with that.

hi I had the same problem with dns you can go to the support page and click networking make sure you click which console you are on and it will give you step by step instructions
