May update Messed up display

Since i upgraded to the recent update I have two black bars on the left and the right of my tv .The only way I can remove them is to drop down to 480p But then everything looks horribble ,Running in 1080p there never used to be a probblem but since the latest update 1080p 1080i and 720p ALL have black bars on the left and right. Could someone help with this please as it's getting quite annoing now.

Have you tried resetting your video settings, and then re-configuring your display? If this doesn't do the trick, please try a different video cable.
