Just want to know about using laptop HDD ban or not

Unfortunately all accessories, other than usb storage devices, have to be a certified xbox 360 accessory. Harddrives must be Microsoft only.

The above should answer your question. There are only a certain number of OFFICIAL MS HDD that you can use for the console. The use of any other hdd is not authorized nor approved by MS and would result in a console ban when you are caught.

That mean i should get HDD from microsoft... it will burn some green in my wallet hehehe... anyways thakx bro

I hope in the future MS will allow use Xbox like the PS3. In PS3 we can just swap the drive with the new one without buying form the PS3 company. :|

first the ps3 doesn't include the software emulator nor does it allow for installation of bluray disk onto a hd

also unlike the xbox the ps3 does not allow you to move the HD without formating the drive  losing all your info

there is nothing to add on the ps3

xbox has a software emulator which they will never allow outside of the xbox ecosystem

allowing non xbox  drive to be used would require ms to release the software and the custom formating which would make emulation easier

which we all know ms nor sony will ever allow
