How can I transfer my gamer points to my xbox live rewards account

I am a member of the xbox rewards club. It says that once i get at least 3000 points i get the VIP status of a "Contender" but it never shows up. two of my referrals have upgraded to gold using the link emailed to them but my 1000 points for that never show up. I also was under the impression that I could get my gamer points to transfer some how to my xbox rewards account but i dont know how. Also, I am a member on points.com which allows me to exchange or trade my points. My xbox rewards account shows up like all the other things i have joined but never allows any type of exchange-can this be fixed?

.......so many questions, not enough answers, i need so help!!!!! :)

If you are referring to your 'Gamerscore', then that is just a reflection of how many achievements you have earned playing your games.

I am also a member at Points.com. Not ALL rewards programs allow you to exchange points from other programs into points for their programs and vice versa. I signed up, hoping to be able to exchange Gamestop Powerup Rewards points into XBL Rewards points and it isnt gonna happen . Both programs only allow you to track your points on points.com which makes me wonder why they are even registered with that site since we can do that without having points.com. The site isnt what they make it out to be but it still can be useful for other rewards programs
