If i buy a new xbox but dont transfer can i still redownload all my stuff for free?

Yes you can, once an item has been paid for by yourself, you can delete and download it as many times as you want :)

As long as you use the same gamertag, as above. You get two licences for every item. One for your gamertag, one for your console.

You do not have to do a Data transfer Cable transfer.

You may have to transfer your digital rights to the new box though.

You don't have to but you won't be able to play Arcade Games and DLCs unless you're connected to Xbox LIVE.

You can also use a USB flash drive to transfer game saves etc over to the new Xbox.

If you use a data transfer cable, you can keep your save games as well. Not sure if you can save them to mem stick as well. Without though, just re-install your games to new h/d, go to download history and re-download your dlcs and content etc. You can then also transfer your licenses accross to your new machine.

right i haven't done it in a while but last time i needed to find something that was no longer on the market place

i went to the transfer licence area and then attempted to start it so i could see my D/L history and then d/led from there. but you might not be able to anymore some people haven't been able to do that.
