connecting to certain friends does not always work

Hi,

My xbox live is usually great but there are certain friends it will not connect too and one being a friend that lives 6 doors away, its weird how I can connect to somebody thousands of miles away and yet cannot play my friend who is local. I dont think its my internet and question that it maybe hers and the firewall being the problem,.

This is possible i have found that resetting my router usually helps with the connection also your friends NAT may be on strict or Moderate which can cause these issues
