Charged twice for my annual renewal fee, and xbox.com sign in... isn't me?

Ok so, first things first! When I post this it may say that my gamertag is "StrumaticTrack0" .... not me, my gamertag has always been "ThatAwesomeGirl."

So my email when I sign in the xbox.com site is the same as usual and so is my password so I have no problem signing in. I'm just so confused because none of my previous acheivements are on there neither my gamer picture or avatar.. it's all blank...and my gamertag is not what my gamertag really is lol. So im just really confused and kind of weirded out. Help?

So now for my second issue. My membership was up to be renewed on august 13, 2012... well the credit card that was on there was expried.

So yesterday a link from an e-mail i got directed me to the microsft billing and management center. So I added my new credit card, not knowing if my subscription would just charge it there or not. I never got a confirmation e-mail.

I went on my actual xbox live account on my console this morning then and went through the renewal method under setting->account->manage payment options. So I then added my new credit card there as well. After that I went to Your Memberships then clicked on Modify Membership and then clicked Xbox Live Gold and chose the Gold- 12 Month $59.99 membership (since I've always had that one) and it renewed it and I finally got a confirmation e-mail.

So after I'm all done renewing I get a call minutes after from my credit card security center that there has been two charges of $59.99 done to my credit card from trying to renew my account. And sure enough I check my account $120 gone from it...

So i have no idea how to fix it, I just want one renewed membership for ThatAwesomeGirl!!! lol kind of stressed and not quite sure what happened, please help me!!!

It sounds like it may have auto renewed and you also added another year when you did it via console. For this issue your only option is to contact XBox support. 1-800-4MY-XBOX

Have you got any other e-mail accounts that you could be mistaking your other profile for? I know it sounds obvious but when you have too many e-mails then you can sometimes forget.

If that doesn't work then try looking at your connected e-mails. Go to www.live.com and go to account settings in the drop down. Then look at your emails. If there is more than 1 connected one then try removing it.

Got it figured out! I called support and yes it was a double purchase of 2 years.. whoops lol. Thanks for commenting though and helping out!
