can't seem to download apple quicktime 7, error code 2203 on vista home premium w/IE8
was trying to install apple quicktime 7 player, from their site, got partway thru, got a popup of error code 2203, then apparently windows would not let it install/operate. It put in all the headers in the startup menu, the help window referred to some
form of compatability permission/data issue that I do not comprehend.
Hp help said to uninstall quicktime, got an error popup in that, but it did uninstall.
they also say to run Windows installer cleanup utility, the try it again, but I cannot seem to find one for Vista w/explorer 8. All I can see is for Xp or 7.
Anybody point me in the right direction? I'm lost.

that were installed by using Windows Installer. Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall
over.
1.Save the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package
to your computer
2.Right click
Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and
Run as Administrator
3.Follow prompts in installation wizard
4.Once finished installing, click the
Start Orb
5.Click
All Programs
6.Click
Windows Install Clean Up
7.Click
Quicktime (if on list)
8.Click
Remove
9.Click
OK
10.Click
