What 3G/4G USB devices does Windows RT support.

I have both two different Clear 4G USB adapters ( Motorola USBw 25100, "Stick Atlas" Ubee PXU1960 ) and neither seem to be recognized by Windows RT. Are any adapters available to work under RT? Is there some setting to allow the adapters to work. I had assumed that rndis adapters would work since their drivers are normally built into the OS, and it is a Microsoft standard. But that seems not to be the case here. I have a clear spot but it seems awkward to bring an extra brick that has only a short battery life around just to have internet out and about.

After scribbling down the patchy facts from random sources, here are my findings about the dongle matter:

Windows RT requires the mobile network interface to pass certain criteria and, most importantly, to comply with:

Network Driver Specification (NDIS) version 6.3

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/jj123811.aspx

Unfortunately, there is currently no*** dongle available which complies with NDIS v 6.3.

Hopefully Microsoft wouldn't make us wait till the "Windows Blue" milestone and push vendors to deliver capable 3g/4g dongles very soon.

***I am not sure if Vodafone has actually released K4305 and it actually works with Windows 8.

If anyone has further updates about 3g/4g dongle for Surface RT, please share.

47 devices, 47 not compatible :(

The only option I have found is the Huawei MiFi which is actually a wireless-3G router so the surface sees it as a WiFi hotspot not a USB dongle.

The real constraint is of course the fact that most if not all need some form of application installed which is a non-starter for RT
