Split screen on one of the two monitor in Windows 8

I know how to split the screen on one monitor. Now the problem is that I have two moniotrs, when i drag one window to the left-most edge, it automaticlly take the left-half screen, however, when I drag another window to the right-most edge, the window passes through the righ-most edge and jump to another monitor. So is that possible to have one program takes the left-half screen on monitor 1, one program takes the right-half screen on monitor 1, and one program takes full scrren on monitor 2? I am runnning on windows 8 pro.

Answer
I know of no 'technical' solution to this problem, but I've been using multiple monitors with windows for years and your best bet for now is this little trick.  Find an edge where the window will 'snap' and autosize, then manually position it on the 'inner' edges of your dual displays.

This explains how to do it with windows hotkeys instead of with the mouse
