Japanese game doesn't show Japanese characters in English version of Windows 7.

Can anyone help,

I have just purchased a pc game from japan, and have just attempted to install it, but all the japanese characters are just being displayed as random letters, symbols and question marks. Is there anyway for me to change this? preferebly without having to change my entire systems language to japanese as i do not understand the language or having to change by system back to XP or something, i just want the game to display characters properly so that i can install and play it.

Hi X Takashi Komuro X,

If I’ve understood correctly, you’ve installed a Japanese game on the computer and the Japanese characters doesn’t show normally.

You can access Non-English software on English version of Windows changing this System Locale into Japanese By changing the System Locale, it will not change the Operating System language.

Change the system locale
